Slow pace.

The couple of hills were easy easy, which felt great.

Week before we did some street riding where we hit some nasty hills that tried to eat me.

The Office is very giggly.

Wiccans can finally display their symbol at Arlington.

What's interesting is the stipulation that "plaintiffs must not keep or disclose any documents handed over by the government during the discovery phase of the lawsuit". Aparently Bush made some rather icky statements regarding Wicca while he was Gov of Texas and it seems these things might have leeked into memos and things with this whole debate over whether or not soldiers and troops who died could have a pentacle on their grave marker in Arlington National Cemetary.

Who knows if its actually true. Its hard to know if its not more finger-pointing and party-poo flinging. But at least freedom of religion has finally been upheld a little bit again.

BTW, I get the concept of this picture-a-day thing.. and I take lots of pictures.. but actually getting them up is, like, hard and stuff!! X-P

So.. yeah.. I've got a little more than a month finished. And its April. Something tells me I'm not getting this accomplished. But I have nearly 900 pictures on my flickr account. Most are crap. But there are a few viewable ones. One day I might take a good'un. :)

Marietta was canceled on Sunday because of the weather craziness. Saturday turned out to be gorgeous, however. Had a great turnout with the crowd and a great event. Ended up premaking most of the food myself (mom cooked the lamb the help me out a bit) but the girls made split nuns (stuffed eggs, or a period version of deviled eggs really) on-site, which I think they enjoyed. We'll have to go back later in the week to get the canvas and I'm expected at least one snapped ridge pole with all this wind but hopefully it won't be too bad.
I actually went out a bit on Saturday with Inge. I don't think there was any point where anyone didn't go out of camp when they wanted to run off and do what they liked, which isn't always the case. For the most part, once we worked out what we actully had for gear, it was pretty laid back.

Sunday I met up with a couple of the guys to check on the weapons and see if they needed to be cleaned up a bit. They weren't in too bad of shape from the attention they got after Jamestown (hooray Shop Princess!- I so need a tiara... and a shirt that says 'Where the hell is Saxony, Anyway?') and from what was done right after we got back on Saturday night, so we called raevenblade and went to see Grind House. Totally Kick Ass. raevenblade didn't care for it much, but I loved loved loved both movies. And the trailers between them. We even saw a matinee, so two movies for less than the cost of a regular-price admission. Score!
